George Shaver

George Edward “Bucky” Shaver, Age 75 of, Oakboro, North Carolina 28129, passed away on November 06, 2010 at his residence in Oakboro. The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 pm Monday, November 8, 2010 at Hartsell Funeral Home Albemarle. Services will be at 2:00 pm Tuesday November 9, 2010 at Fellowship Baptist Church with a 30 min. state. Burial will follow at Stanly Gardens. The Pastor David Howard will officiate. At other times the family will be meeting at the home. He was born in Stanly County on September 21, 1935 to the late Lonnie Green and Lula Eve Lefler Shaver. George Shaver is survived by his wife Mildred Shaver of the home, three sons, Greg Shaver and wife Teresa of Locust, Rick Shaver and wife Doris of Albemarle, Clark Shaver of Oakboro; two daughters, Monica Howard and husband Sidney of Woodrun, Natalie Wagoner and husband William of Gold Hill; one brother, Buddie Shaver of Maysville, GA and one sister, Margie Culp of Norwood, 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
