Georgia Drakulakos Boles
An angel in life; a beautiful, loving wife, friend and mother
went home to be with the Lord.
Midland , North Carolina - Mrs. Georgia Drakulakos Boles passed away on August 25, 2009. Georgia, born February 28, 1950 in High Point, N.C., was the daughter of the late Fotios (Charlie) and Dementra (Tula) Drakulakos.
The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home, Concord Thursday, August 27, from 6 to 8 PM. The funeral will be held Friday, August 28 at 2 PM in the Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. Garold Roseman officiating. Burial will follow in West Concord Cemetery.
A 1968 High Point Central High School graduate, Georgia attended Davidson County Community College then transferred to UNC - Asheville where in 1972 she acquired a B.A. in Psychology. Georgia was last employed with Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte for 14 years prior to her becoming a stay at home wife and mother.
Georgiaâs life was always centered on her family and her church. She was a very active member of Calvary Praise and Worship Center in Midland for 25 years.
Georgia is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, Harold Boles; their daughter, Maria Boles, and son, Mark Boles, both of Concord, NC; granddaughters Savannah and Helena; and her brother and sister-in-law, Nick and Kathy Drakulakos, of Archdale, NC.
Georgia always greeted everyone with a smile, was always very polite to everyone she met, even in the coming years of failing health. Thank God for Georgia; she was one of the kindest, sweetest, friendliest, and most beautiful people that the Lord ever put on this earth.
Georgia passed away at home with her husband and children by her side.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative of Cabarrus County, 5003 Hospice Lane, Kannapolis, NC 28081.
