Georgie Osborne

Georgie Margaret Herman Osborne, 92 years of age, of Oakboro, passed away Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at Trinity Place in Albemarle.

Mrs. Osborne was born August 28, 1924, in Stanly County to the late Kenneth Shuford Herman, Sr., and the late Sadie Hethcock Herman. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Bruce Lee Osborne; and two children, DiAnn Osborne Trull, and Bruce “Buddy” Lee Osborne, Jr.

A memorial service will be on Friday, June 23 at 10:30 a.m. at First Baptist Church, Oakboro officiated by Chip Alsobrooks.

Survivors include daughter, Georgia (Bob) Harvey of Oakboro; grandson, LTJG Matthew Hunter Harvey, USN of Norfolk, VA; and granddaughter, Alayna Brooke Harvey of Lubbock, TX.

Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, P. O. Box 10, Oakboro, NC 28129 or to the charity of the donor's choice.
