Gerald Barbee

Gerald Otto Barbee, 78, of Stanfield, passed away Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at Carolinas Medical Center-NorthEast in Concord. Mr. Barbee was born September 6, 1935 in Stanly County to the late Walter Franklin Barbee and Iramae Austin Barbee. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Bertie Mae "Jerri" Haney Barbee. A graveside service will be held at Oakboro Cemetery on Friday, November 29, 2013 at 2 pm, officiated by Rev. Steve Barbee. Survivors include brother, Wayne Barbee of Stanfield; sisters, Irene Little and Deana Huneycutt, both of Oakboro, and Nelma Huneycutt of Norwood; nephews and nieces.
