Gerald Motley

Gerald Lynn Motley, 60 years of age, of Midland, passed away Monday, February 17, 2014 at his home. Gerald was born September 9, 1953 in Cabarrus County to the late Fred Grier Motley and the late Ann Lee Tucker Motley. The graveside service will be at 1pm on Saturday, February 22, 2014 at Pine Bluff United Methodist Church Cemetery officiated by Pastor Craig J. Sefa. He is survived by his beloved wife of 35 years, Barbara Diana Huneycutt Motley; numerous aunts and cousins; and his special friend and companion, Boy, his bullmastiff. Gerald loved his dogs, and spending time with his friends. Memorials may be made to Pine Bluff United Methodist Church, 11000 Reed Mine Rd., Midland, NC 28107, and the Humane Society of Concord and Greater Cabarrus County, 2010 Wilshire Ct., Concord, NC 28025.
