Geraldeen Eagle

Geraldeen Allman Eagle, 93 of Concord, departed the Tucker Hospice House of Kannapolis for her heavenly home on Thursday, May 23, 2019.

She was born on January 16, 1926 to the late John and Stella Allman of Mt Pleasant, and was one of three children: late Robert “Buddy” Allman of Mt Pleasant and Tommy Joe Allman of Concord.

Geraldeen was married to the late Carl Eagle of Mt Pleasant and had five children : Gail and the late Robert “Bob” Brooks of Concord, the late Brenda and the late Harmon Gilmore of Mt Pleasant, Keith and Patty Eagle of Kannapolis, Grant and Leah Eagle of Concord, and Tina Eagle of Ocean Isle.  She was a loving grandmother to her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

She lived in Wesbury Apartments and loved all the residents.  She enjoyed playing bingo, eating potlock dinners, attending Church services and sitting outside with the Girls.  She spent her life as a seamstress for her family, friends and many local textile mills.

Geraldeen loved to spend time with her family and travel around the world.  She loved a steak dinner with a cold beer and shopping in any thrift store.

The Family will receive friends on Thursday, May 30 at 11am at Hartsell Funeral Home in Concord.  Followed by a Celebration of Life service at 12pm and internment at Herrins Grove Primitive Baptist Church in Mt Pleasant.

The Family would like to express our sincere gratitude for the loving care and support from the Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis.
