Geraldine Burleson

Geraldine Foster Burleson, 84, of Albemarle, passed away Saturday, October 29, 2016 at Woodhaven Court in Albemarle.

Geri was born March 12, 1932 in Stanly County to the late John Mansfield Foster and the late Effie Jane Howard Foster. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Odus "Ode" Poplin Burleson, who passed away in 2012; and brothers, Carol and Gene Foster.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 am - 11:00 am, Saturday, November 5, 2016 at Pine Grove United Methodist Church. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 am in the sanctuary, officiated by Rev. Jay Belk. The burial will be at the church cemetery.

She is survived by her brother, Jake Foster of Albemarle; and numerous nieces and nephews.
