Geraldine Holthouser

Geraldine “Gerri” Anderson Holthouser, 84, of Concord, passed away on Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at home. The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home in Concord on Thursday, March 29, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The funeral service, officiated by Rev. Dr. Patti Tillman Simpson, will be held in the Hartsell Funeral Home chapel on Friday, March 30, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at West Concord Cemetery. At other times the family will meet at the home. Geraldine was born on October 28, 1927, to the late Thomas Cinclair Anderson and the late Nellie Bright Hargett Anderson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Robert “Bob” Franklin Holthouser. Mrs. Holthouser is survived by two daughters, Rhonda Holthouser Attkisson and Pam Holthouser; a sister, Doris King; two grandchildren, Brynn Attkisson Bates and Justin Robert Attkisson; and a great-grandson, Bronwen Bates.
