Geraldine Sides

Geraldine Sides, 81, of Albemarle, passed away Thursday, August 22, 2019 at Atrium Health Stanly in Albemarle.

Mrs. Sides was born June 27, 1938 in Stanly County to the late Clifford Lowder and the late Clara Lowder. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by brothers, Tony and Richard Lowder; and sister, Elva Pollack.

Geraldine enjoyed many trips to the beach with her family. She was a very humble person who always put others before herself. She loved going to church and was a lifelong member of Union Grove Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm, Monday, August 26, 2019 at Union Grove Baptist Church, 20514 NC-138, Albemarle. The funeral service will follow at 4:00 pm in the church sanctuary officiated by Pastor Jeremy Blake. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Survivors include husband, Homer Sides; sons, Ricky Sides, Stan Sides and wife Michelle; granddaughter, Brittany Sides; and sister, Kayle Sides.
