Gert Altmann

Gert James Altmann, 70 , of , Kannapolis passed away Saturday, April 27, 2013 at CMC-NorthEast in Concord. Mr. Altmann was born June 28, 1942 in Aarhus, Denmark to the late Heinz K. Altmann and Erna Kiil Altmann. He was the owner of Altmann Crown & Bridge Dental Laboratory in Kannapolis for 45 years. A memorial service will take place on Sunday, May 5th at 1:30 pm at Kimball Memorial Lutheran Church in Kannapolis. He is survived by his wife, Cathy Altmann; sons, Heinz E. Altmann, Jason Altmann, Stephen Altmann, and Barry Christenson; his mother in Florida; and nine grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Kimball Memorial Lutheran Church Building Fund or St. Jude Childrens Reseach Hospital. Hartsell Funeral Home is serving the Altmann family.
