Gilma Angell Goodman, 90 years of age, of Concord, NC passed away Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at her home.
Gilma was born December 29, 1925 in Salisbury, NC to the late Alvin Hiawatha Angell and the late Nanny Angell. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Moore; as well as four brothers and three sisters.
Survivors include her son, David Moore and wife, Rosemary; daughter, Janice Guinn; granddaughter, Crystal Kaiserling and husband, Juergen; granddaughter, Suzanne Hallman; granddaughter Hannah Rowland and husband, Greg; grandson Alan Moore; seven great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; sister, Mabel Couch; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Gilma was a member of Branchview Church of God in Concord. She crocheted and enjoyed cooking for her family. Her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren meant the world to her. One of the fondest memories of her family was how she lived and shared her faith in God. Gilma will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 11:30 am - 1:00 pm, Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by Rev. James Sechrest. Burial will take place at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis.
