Gladys Crawley

Gladys Barringer Crawley, 85 years of age, of New London, passed away Thursday, August 8, 2013 at Stanly Manor in Albemarle. She was born November 6, 1927 in Cabarrus County to the late Titus Barringer and the late Carrie Mae Barringer . The family will receive friends from 2:30 pm - 4:00 pm, Saturday, August 10, 2013 at New Mount Tabor United Methodist Church. The funeral service will be on Saturday at 4:00 pm at New Mount Tabor United Methodist Church in Richfield officiated by Rev. Jack Tookey. Burial will follow at the New Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church Cemetery at 40237 Millingport Road, New London. Survivors include husband, Gene Crawley; son, Sam Blalock and wife Angela of Albemarle, NC; son, Harold Blalock and wife Sherry; son, Charles Ray Blalock; daughter, Brenda Misenheimer and husband Berkie of Richfield, NC; brothers Zeb Barringer of Lexington, NC, and Fred Barringer of Norwood, NC; 2 sisters, Helen Hill of Lexington, NC, and Annie Mae Huneycutt of Mt. Pleasant, NC; 7 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to New Mount Tabor United Methodist Church, 40237 Millingport Road, Richfield, NC 28137.
