Gleamer Bost

Gleamer Ridenhour Bost, 96 years of age, of Concord, passed away Friday, October 9, 2015 at Carolinas Medical Center-NorthEast in Concord.

Mrs. Bost was born November 8, 1918 in Stanly County, NC to the late Paul Ridenhour and the late Dora Isenhour Ridenhour Baucom.
She was also preceded in death by her husband Everett L. Bost; son Gary Bost; two sisters Faye Taylor and Juanita Springer; as well as her step father Dewey Baucom.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Sunday, October 11, 2015 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. The funeral service will be on Monday at 11:00 am at Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel of Concord officiated by Rev. Tim Newton. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park, Kannapolis.

Survivors include her sons, Michael L. Bost and Danny G. Bost both of Concord; a loving niece; as well as four grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.

Mrs. Bost was a member of the first graduating class of the Louise Harkey / Cabarrus Memorial Hospital School of Nursing in 1942. She then became a registered nurse at Cabarrus Memorial Hospital where she later retired after years of service. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Poplar Tent Presbyterian Church.
