Glen Michael Reynolds, 60, of Harrisburg, passed away Saturday, December 12, 2020 at Atrium Health Cabarrus in Concord.
Glen was born July 14, 1960 in North Carolina to the late Albert Reynolds, Jr. and the late Barbara Elizabeth Reynolds. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Lori Reynolds Davenport.
Glen was a graduate of Independence High School and Nashville Auto Diesel College. He took pride in 31 years of working for the City of Charlotte; first as a mechanic at the city garage, then 23 years as a firefighter with the Charlotte Fire Department. He also had his own lawn business and worked for Sunoco Racing Fuels several years.
Glen loved spending time with family. He looked forward to their trip to the Outer Banks each year. Glen enjoyed many hobbies over the years including go-cart racing with his son, building NASCAR models, and his Harley. He loved being outside working on maintaining his yard or vehicles. He liked WW II history/movies, Nascar (Petty/Gordon), Yankees baseball, and Rams football. Glen was most definitely a car guy. He loved muscle cars, antique automobiles, and was restoring a '38 Plymouth. He loved meeting new people who shared his same passions and could easily strike up conversation at car shows and cruise-ins.
Glen lived a good life but has left us way too soon. He has gone to be with the Lord and his family who passed on before him. We love him and will miss him tremendously
