Glenda Donahue

Glenda Carlene Liles Donahue, 61, of 1311 Family Lane, Locust, NC, passed away January 9, 2010, at Stanly Regional Medical Center. Glenda was born December 2, 1948, in Stanly County, to Carl Lorenzo and Lillian Hazel Broome Liles. Her father, Carl, preceded her in death. Visitation will be Monday, January 11, at Hartsell Funeral Home, Midland, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be Tuesday, January 12, 4:00 p.m., with a 30 minute state, at Freedom Baptist Church, 20015 Coley Store Road, Locust, NC, Rev. Gerald Baucom, former pastor, and Rev. Daryl Sikes, current pastor officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. All other times the family will be at her home. Survivors include her mother, Lillian Broome Liles; son, Troy Donahue of Oakboro, NC; brother, Kenneth Liles of Locust, NC; granddaughter Trivia Donahue, grandson Trever Donahue, and granddaughter Trenity Donahue.
