Glenn Drye

Glenn Wayne Drye, 69, of Concord, NC, passed away Thursday, November 25, 2010, at Tucker Hospice House, Kannapolis, NC. Mr. Drye was born January 26, 1941, in Cabarrus County. He was preceded in death by his father, Leonard Walter Drye, and mother, Alice Evelyn Rhinehardt Drye. He was a brick mason with Alward Masonry Company in Mt. Pleasant, NC. Visitation will be 2 – 4 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 28, at Hartsell Funeral Home, Concord. The funeral service will begin at 4:00 in the Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel, Concord, Rev. Joseph Chandlers officiating. Burial will be Monday, 11:00 a.m., at Carolina Memorial Park, Kannapolis. At other times, the family will meet at the home. Survivors include his wife, Linda Martin Drye, of the home; son, Mark W. Drye and wife, Michelle, of Alexis, NC; daughter, Kimberly King Bisson and husband, Brent, of Charlottesville, Virginia; grandchildren, Lillianna, Titus, and Silas; and brothers, Lester E.
