Glenn Edward Dunn

Glenn Edward Dunn, 85, of Richfield, passed away Sunday, January 14, 2024 at home.

Glenn was born July 3, 1938 in Kentucky to the late James Noe and the late Mattie Noe. 
He was also preceded in death by wife, Mary Lettie Dunn; daughter, Tammy Harrison; and  son, James Dunn.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 am - 11:45 pm, Thursday, January 18, 2024 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. The funeral service will follow in Hartsell Funeral Home's Lefler Memorial Chapel at 12:00 pm, officiated by Rev. Don Burleyson. Burial will then follow at Stanly Gardens of Memory, 2001 East Main St., Albemarle.

Glenn was a wonderful husband, father, and brother.  He loved to spend time with his family, especially when he took the kids to the beach for vacation.  After his wife Mary passed away, he took up wood working as a hobby leading him to build a large fire pit area for social gatherings where the family would spend numerous hours enjoying one another's presence.  Glenn had a passion for trucking, and for over 50 years, he drove trucks all over the continental United States.  Glenn will be sorely missed by all who knew him and he is now with his Lord and Savior.

Survivors include daughters, Linda Davis,  Bonnie Sides, Kimberly Jones, Helen Welker, Patricia Edwards; niece, Kim Dunn; 11 grandchildren; and numerous beloved great-grandchildren.
