Glenn Hinson

Glenn Hinson, 81 years of age, of Oakboro, passed away Saturday, June 17, 2017 at his home.
Mr. Hinson was born January 30, 1936 in Stanly County to the late William Fred Hinson and the late Ruby Eudy Hinson. He was also preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, 17236 Frog Pond Road. The funeral service will be at 3:00 in the church sanctuary officiated by Dr. Wayne Bennett. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Survivors include wife of 60 years, Alice Hinson of Oakboro; daughters, Glenda Rinehardt and husband Jonathan of Stanfield and Vicki Dennis and husband Dray of Oakboro; grandchildren, Amanda, Dustin, Alison, Laura, and Samantha; seven great-grandchildren; sisters, Doris Drake, Freida Efird, and Virginia Hatley.
