Glenn Teeter

Glenn Austin Teeter, age 85, of Albemarle, passed away on March 20, 2013 at Bethany Woods. The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle on Tuesday, March 26, 2013 from 3:30 pm until 4:00 pm. The celebration of life, officiated by Rev. Wayne Bennett, will be held at Hartsell Funeral Home’s Lefler Memorial Chapel of Albemarle on Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at 4:00pm. A reception will follow the service at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church at 5:30 pm. Mr. Teeter was born on October 27, 1927, to the late Irenus Teeter and the late Ollie Austin Teeter. He is also preceded in death by a brother, Carol Teeter and a granddaughter, Jessica McJunkins. He is survived by his loving wife, Myrtle Teeter of Albemarle; a son, Robin Teeter of Albemarle; a daughter, Starla McJunkins and husband Joe of Tega Cay, SC; a brother, Kenneth Teeter of Albemarle; five grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.
