Glenn Allen Whitley, 55, of New London, passed away Wednesday, October 25, 2017 in Lone Tree, Colorado.
Glenn was born September 17, 1962 in Stanly County to the late Sherrill Allen Whitley and the late Barbara Kay Whitley.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Friday, November 3, 2017 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. At other times, the family will be gathering at the home.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 17 years, Cynthia Lynn Allred Whitley of the home; brothers, John Allen Whitley and wife Jennifer, Jerry Lee Whitley and wife Toni, Paul Calvin Whitley and wife Lisa, all of New London; step-children, Joey Freeman and wife Meredith of Robins, Hannah Hilliard and husband John of Siler City; and six grandchildren, Justice, Brooklyn, Carter, Hunter, William, Joshua.
Glenn was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He worked as a truck driver and enjoyed riding motorcycles. He loved his family and friends, and will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
