Glenn Wishon
November 4, 1925 — February 22, 2015
Glenn Alexander Wishon, 89 years of age, of Concord, passed away Sunday, February 22, 2015 at Universal Healthcare in Concord.
Mr. Wishon was born November 4, 1925 to the late Bert E. Wishon and Sarah Elizabeth Wishon. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his sisters, Helen Greene and Gennie Wishon; his brothers, James Wishon, Dallas Wishon and Pat Wishon.
He is survived by nieces, Ann Margaret Bowers and Carol Wishon; nephews, Dennis Wishon and Hal Wishon; numerous great nieces and nephews and his sister-in-law, Carolyn Wishon.
Mr. Wishon was a World War II, US Army veteran and served in Europe, returning to work for many years at Cress Brothers Plumbing Co. He was a member of Saint James Greater Catholic Church.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, February 25, 2015 from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm. at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. A graveside service will be at the St. James The Greater Catholic Church Cemetery at 2323 Gold Hill Rd., Concord, officiated by Father Dionne.
