Gloria Athey

Gloria Jean "Glo" Dillon Athey, 60, of 4051 Dakeita Circle Concord, NC formerly of Gary WV passed away on Thursday, November 25, 2010 at Hinkle Hospice House in Lexington. Born on May 15, 1950 in Mcdowell County WV to the late Robert Stanley and Grace Stella Vincent Dillon. Also preceded in death by brother Robert Stanley Dillon, Jr and sisters Dorothy Goodwin, Elinor Justice, Virginia Mitchem, Judith C. Brown. Mrs. Athey was an assembler for Morton Plastics in Harrisburg and was a member of St. Stephens Wesleyan Church in Concord. She enjoyed doing crafts. A Memorial Service will be held at St. Stephens Wesleyan Church on Tuesday, November 30, 2010 at 1 PM, with Rev. Gary Morris officiating. Survived by: husband, Ken James Athey of the home; sisters, Brenda Williams and husband Clyde of High Point, Mary Wood of High Point, and Helen Wilson of Waynesville.
