Gloria Hutchins
December 11, 1950 — May 14, 2016
Gloria Jean Marsh Hutchins was a native of Pineville, North Carolina. She passed away on Saturday the 14, 2016 from complications from dementia. She was 65.
Gloria is survived by her husband, Mayford Wayne Hutchins; a son, Christopher Draughon; two step daughters, Cindy Hutchins and Joanna Hutchins; eight grand children. She is also survived by her brother, Ernest Marsh.
During her life she was an avid bowler, competing in many tournaments and also a volunteer with the Boy Scouts for over 20 years for the camp master program. She lived briefly in New Mexico, where her ashes will later be interred. She also lived in Los Angeles, California. She spent her life in banking, working as a mortgage lender and then later in credit card fraud. She enjoyed camping, travel and spending time with family and friends, particularly her group called the “Limo Queens”. Gloria had a zest for life and smiled freely, laughed a lot and loved a lot. She was a huge Elvis fan and visited Graceland before her death. She enjoyed Native American culture and loved attending powwows and collecting Native Art.
