Gloria Liscano Alfaro Manlangit, 79, of Stanfield, passed away Friday, November 15, 2024, at her home surrounded by her husband and by their five daughters.
Gloria was born July 14, 1945, in the Philippines to the late Paterno Alfaro and the late Natalia Liscano Alfaro.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.
She is survived by her husband, Andres Manlangit of Stanfield NC; daughter and son- in-law, Loida and Charles Murphy of Rathdrum, ID; daughter and son-in-law, Virginia and James Hillier of Stanfield, NC; daughter and son-in-law, Lorna and Dennis Ruben of Oak Harbor, WA; daughter and son-in-law, Lirio and Todd Tetreault of Seabeck, WA; and daughter and son-in-law, May and Stephen Davis of Irmo, SC. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Andrew and Tommy Murphy, Bry and Rgy Hillier, Princess and Andi Ruben, Tommy and Gabby Tetreault, and Gavin and Aden Davis; and great-grandchildren, Olivia, Jaxson, Serena, Tili, Arya and Kai.
Gloria enjoyed sewing and crocheting. She loved dancing, especially with her husband, Andy. And of course, she loved going to the casino playing with her favorite slot machines. Her favorite color for lipstick was red, and yellow for flowers. She was very fond of her long-beautiful and always painted nails. She was her grandchildren and great grandchildren’s generous “Lola”. Gloria had sacrificed, devoted, and lived life fully for her family. She will forever be the “Mama or Ma” to her daughters and sons-in-law, the “Lola” to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and the forever “Glor” to her first and only love of 62 years, Andy Manlangit.
