Glotha Hathcock

Glotha Nance Hathcock, 86 years of age, of Stanfield, passed away Wednesday, May 16, 2012 in St. Andrews Assisted Living Center in Concord. Mrs. Hathcock was born March 11, 1926 in Union County to the late Bill Nance and Lessie Chancy Nance. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Floyd Hathcock and a son, Chuck Hathcock. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, May 19, at Philadelphia Baptist Church of Stanfield where she was a member. There will be a 30 minute state prior to the service. Rev. Dwight Mabry will officiate and burial will follow in the church cemetery beside of her husband. The family will receive friends in the fellowship hall after the burial. Survivors include her son, John Gary Hathcock of Midland, four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland is serving the Hathcock family.
