Gordon Barringer

Gordon James Barringer, age 96, of Concord passed away on August 28, 2012 at Universal Healthcare in Concord. The graveside service will be held at 11 AM on September 1, 2012 at Salem United Methodist Church, 20987 NC Hwy 73 in Albemarle. Mr. Barringer was born in Cabarrus County on September 2, 1915 to the late Grover Cleveland and the late Flora Jerome Barringer. He is also preceded in death by his three brothers, William Lee Barringer, Woodrow Cleveland Barringer and Wayne Barringer. Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle is serving the Barringer family.
