Grace Harrell

Grace Elizabeth Mann Harrell, 87, of 5032 Lonnie Bascom Circle, Concord, died Tuesday, August 18, 2009, at CMC-Northeast.

The family will receive friends, Thursday, August 20, from 6 to 8 PM at Hartsell Funeral Home in Concord. The funeral will be held Friday, August 21 at 11 AM in the Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Merrill Perkins and Rev. Bobby Phillips officiating. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery in Concord. The family will meet at the home of Ellen Pike Mitchener, 4101 Morris Burn Drive, Concord.

Mrs. Harrell was born November 18, 1921, in Concord to the late Pearl Jerome Mann and the late Lottie Odessa Kiser Mann. She was an inspector in the hosiery mill and was a member of Ann Street United Methodist Church, Concord.

Survivors include 2 sons, "Butch" Harrell of Concord, and "Tommy" Harrell and wife Eva of Rockwell; daughter Dianne Solomon and husband Robert of Marietta, GA; 4 grandchildren, Beth Wallace, Ashley Call, Michael Solomon and Teresa Helms; special friend Ellen Mitchener of Concord; and 8 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Owen Harrell.
