Grace Eleanor Sides Motley, 72, 931 Watson Drive, Concord, passed away Friday, January, 15, 2010, at Tucker Hospice House.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, January 17 at Hartsell Funeral Home in Concord. A funeral service will follow at 4 p.m. in the Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Everette Cox officiating. Burial will be at Carolina Memorial Park at a later date. The family will be meeting at the home of her son, Tim Motley, 312 Autumn Dr., Harrisburg.
Mrs. Motley was born November 29, 1937 in Cabarrus County. She was a manager at Save a Stop convenience store and an active member of Mt. Zion Freewill Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dave Wesley Motley; her son, Kenneth A. Motley; daughter, Joan D. Herrin; and mother, Mary Troutman Sides.
Survivors include her sons, Doug Motley and wife, Bonnie, of Concord; Jeff Motley and wife, Wanda, of Mt. Pleasant; Tim Motley and wife, Rhonda, of Harrisburg; and David Motley, of the home.
