Grace Smith

Grace McLean Smith of Oakboro, NC passed away Monday, August 31, 2009 at Carolinas Medical-Charlotte. Her visitation will be Thursday, Sept 3, 2009 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.at Red Cross Baptist Church. Funeral service wil follow at 11 a.m. at Red Cross Baptist and burial in the church cemetery. She was a member of Red Cross Baptist Church for over fifty years and retired from Stanly Knitting Store. She is survived by sons, Terry Dale Smith and Bob Stephen Smith; Grandchildren, April Drye and Kodi Smith; sister, Carolyn Smith and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Clayton Smith deceased Feb 11, 1993, brothers, Benny Mullis, Earl T. Mullis, John Junior Mullis, sisters, Bertha M. Thomas Ross, Edith M. Mullis, Christine M. Clontz, Evelyn Pinion, Helen Maness.
