Gracie Lowder Lorch

Gracie Lowder Lorch, 68 of Norwood met her heavenly father December 23, 2023, at her home. We can only imagine the smile on her face.

She was the most faithful woman to her Lord and Savior, family, and friends. She never met a stranger. 
Gracie was a member of South Stanly Baptist Church where she served as a Sunday School teacher and served many other commitments throughout the years. She was employed with Uwharrie Knits for over 45 years.

She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Dale Lorch, daughter; Shannon Baucom (Rick) of Oakboro, son; Scott Lorch (Kelly) of Peachland; a stepdaughter, Tessa Nichols (Shawn) of Matthews; granddaughter, Shayna Arrowood (Andrew); grandsons; Braylon and Brantley Tyson; great-grandson, Maverick Arrowood of Oakboro; her mother, Bertha Greene of Norwood; sister, Sheppie Allen of Smyrna, TN.; brother, Shane Greene of Norwood and a host of other family and friends.

Gracie was faithful in all she did. She let her light shine even on her hardest days here on earth, but she kept in her anchor held. She loved her family with all she had.
 
The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Wednesday, December 27, 2023, at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. The funeral service will be on Thursday, December 28, 2023, at 1:00 pm at South Stanly Baptist Church in Norwood officiated by Rev. Jeffery Pope. Burial will follow at Norview Gardens, 949 Pee Dee Avenue, Norwood, North Carolina.
