Grady Clark

Grady Guy Clark, 87, of Albemarle, passed away on March 8, 2021 at his home in Albemarle, NC.

He was born on May 30, 1933 to the late John Martin and Sarah Lula Elizabeth (Smith) Clark in Stanly County.

Grady worked as a mechanic for many years, having worked at Confederate Chevrolet, Carolina Tire Co. and NCDOT, which he thoroughly enjoyed.

Grady and Eva lived in Albemarle, until his passing.

Grady is survived by his loving spouse of 63 years Eva Mae Eudy Clark; son, Grady Martin ( Marty) Clark and wife, Robin Denise (Efird) Clark of Albemarle; daughters, Melody Anne Clark of Albemarle and Sharon Kaye (Clark) Sells and husband, Terry Andrew Sells of Albemarle.  He is also survived by seven grandchildren, Levi (Ceyanna) Clark, Jessica (Bobby) Reece, Adam Wensil, Tamara (Matt ) Mayes, Hollie (Matt) Guyette , Dakota Clark, and Dalton Sells; and six great-grandchildren, Memphis, Ethan, Mason, Elloree, Jonathan, and Drew.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 10, 2021, from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle.  Funeral services will be on Thursday, March 11, 2021, at 2:00 pm in Hartsell Funeral Home's Lefler Memorial Chapel, with the Rev. Ben Floyd officiating. Burial will follow at the Stanly Gardens of Memory, 2001 East Main St., Albemarle.
