Grady Jerome Kiker, 83, of Midland, NC passed away Saturday, October 20, 2018.

Mr. Kiker was born December 6, 1934 in Anson County, NC to the late Cannie Jerome Kiker and the late Mary Elizabeth Wallace Kiker.
He was also preceded in death by his brother James Kiker; and sister Christine Nance.

Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Martha Clay Kiker of the home; son Kenneth Kiker; son, Stephen Kiker and wife Cathleen; granddaughter Susan K. Huneycutt and husband Josh; grandson Andrew C. Kiker and wife Juliana; grandson Austin J. Kiker; great grandchildren Landon J. Huneycutt and Meredith K. Huneycutt; sisters Alice K. Holmes and husband Norris; Gracie K. Frank; Carolyn K. Phifer and husband Jerry; brothers Glenn F. Kiker and wife Annis; Jimmy E. Kiker and wife Gloria; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Mr. Kiker was a charter member of the United Methodist Men at Bethel UMC in Midland, and was the recipient of the Lifetime Membership Pin for his service.  He graduated from Peachland High School and later attended Central Piedmont Community College.  He proudly served in the United States Army, and after 40 years of service he retired from Southern Manufacturing Company.    His hobbies included gardening, caring for his horses and just being outdoors.  Mr. Kiker was a devoted family man who loved the Lord.  Grady loved his family dearly, and will be truly missed by all those who knew him.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Tuesday, October 23rd at Bethel United Methodist Church.  A memorial service will follow at 2:00 pm officiated by Rev. Mark Clontz.  Committal services will take place at the church columbarium with military honors.
