Graham Anthony Pittman, 27 years of age, of Concord, passed away Sunday, April 12, 2015.
Graham was born August 6, 1987 in Charlotte, NC to Larry Graham Pittman and Tammy Odom Pittman. He graduated from home school and RCCC, and earned a degree in philosophy at UNCC. Graham was a member of the original Cabarrus Stallions football team of the Pioneer Football League. He loved people, he loved learning and was a perpetual scholar. Graham was an avid outdoorsman, who loved camping, fishing and hunting. He enjoyed studying history and had a special interest in metallurgy. He was very proud of his Scottish heritage and wanted to share it with his children.
In addition to his parents, Graham is survived by his beloved wife and childhood sweetheart, Christina (Barringer) Pittman of the hearth; his son Chandler age 5; and his daughter Lauralye age 9 months; sister Renee Pittman Campbell and husband Donovan of Indian Trail and their children Mauryn, Rachel, Caleb and Hannah; brother Samuel Pittman and wife Camille of Concord and their children Little Sam and Sophia; and grandmothers Mildred Humphrey and Effie Odom; father and mother in-law, Jimmy Barringer and wife Debra and sister-in-law, Samatha.
He was deeply devoted to his children. He enjoyed toy sword battles with his son Chandler, and stealing kisses from his baby girl Lauralye.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm, Friday, April 17, 2015 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. A celebration of his life will follow at 5:00 pm in the chapel at Hartsell Funeral Home, officiated by his father and his brother in law Donovan Campbell.
