Gregory Matthew "Matt" Carpenter, 25 years of age, of Concord, passed away Sunday, April 24, in Concord, NC.
Matt was born August 31, 1990 in North Carolina to Gregory Howard Carpenter and Candie Honeycutt. He was the manager of Beach n Vapes in Concord.
Survivors include mother, Candie (Robert) Honeycutt of Concord, NC; father, Gregory Howard (Jean) Carpenter of Matthews, NC; maternal grandparents, Angela (Gary) Barnhardt of Concord, NC, and Bobby (Linda) Deaton of Durham, NC; fraternal grandparents, Hollis and Edie Carpenter of York, SC; grandmother, Connie Lanier of Charlotte, NC; sisters, Mikayla (Dustin) Carpenter of Millingport, NC, and Mackenzie Honeycutt of the home; brother, Tyler Honeycutt; girlfriend, Mary Parker of Kannapolis, NC; niece, Baby Leah Carpenter; numerous cousins, aunts, and uncles.
A memorial gathering will be held on Friday from 4:00 till 6:00 pm at Frank Liske Park at 4001 Stough Rd, Concord, NC 28027.
