Gregory Gleghorn

Gregory Duane Gleghorn, 57, of Concord, passed away on June 17, 2022, in Concord, NC.

He was born on February 16, 1965, to Dewey and Evelyn (Worthington) Gleghorn in Madison, WI. Gregory worked as a Director of Information Technology at UNC Charlotte School Of The Arts for many years in which he thoroughly enjoyed. He also served his country as a United Sates Marine in which he was extremely proud.  In his spare time, he would be found reading books, or having fun on the golf course. Gregory was known for being very intelligent, strong minded, outspoken, and consistent.  He was motivated and life nor opportunities never passed him by.  He absolutely adored his family and will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him.

Gregory is survived by his loving Wife of 33 years Yvonne aka Eva, son, Gregory Jerome Gleghorn (Meagan); daughters, Ginelle Yvonne Gleghorn, and Latrice Henry; grandchildren Xavier Odom, Aria Emily Gleghorn, and sister, Madeline Talent (Rajae).

He was preceded in death by sister, Yvonne Gleghorn, sister, Hope Gleghorn.

Visitation will be held Friday, June 24, 2022, 12:30 pm - 1:45 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home, Concord, NC.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 24, 2022, 2:00 pm at the Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord, Concord, NC, with Rev. Don Burleyson officiating the service.
