Gregory Sharpless

Gregory Marquey Sharpless, 35, of Concord, NC passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 25, 2020.

Born and raised in Concord, Greg was a devoted family man that spent his life caring for his parents, Bill and Aurelia Sharpless. He was generous and often donated to those in need, never turning a blind eye to the less fortunate members of his community. He was a lifelong fan of wrestling and martial arts films, and an admirer of classic cars. He enjoyed spending time with his family, often watching kung-fu classics or playing basketball.

In addition to his parents, Greg is survived by his brother Duncan Williams; brother, William Wylie and wife, Christina Garcia; sister, Azali’yah Israel and husband, Seriyah Israel; sister, Veronique Sharpless and husband, Montreal Mathis. As well several nieces and nephews.

A private service will be on Sunday April 5th, 2020 before he is laid to rest at Carolina Memorial Park Kannapolis.

In compliance with Governor Cooper's mandate on gatherings of no more than 10 people, of which funerals and visitations are NOT exempt, attendance will be strictly monitored and capped at 10 attendees (including family members) with NO exceptions.  We apologize for any inconvenience, but we all must do our part to protect one another from the spread of this virus.
