Grover Lambert

Grover Lambert, 93, of Albemarle, passed away on Monday, December 24, 2012 at Bethany Woods Nursing Home. The funeral service, officiated by Rev. Mark Mabry, will be held at Canton Baptist Church, Albemarle on Thursday, December 27, 2012, at 4:00 pm. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Friends may pay their respects to the family following the burial. At other times, the family will be meeting at his home. Mr. Lambert was born on September 23, 1919, to the late Fetzer Lambert and the late Lilly Lambert. He is also preceded in death by his wife of 69 years, Wilma Lambert in 2011. He is survived by a daughter, Becky Helms and husband David of Marietta, GA; a sister, Mildred Barbee of Albemarle; two grandchildren, Mark Helms and wife, Rita, of Raleigh and Robin Helms of Woodstock, GA.
