Grovine Honeycutt

Grovine Barbee Honeycutt, age 88 of Barbee Road, Stanfield, passed away on May 19, 2011 at Stanly Manor, Albemarle. The graveside service will be at 11:00 AM, Saturday, May 21 at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery, Locust, NC. Pastor Charlie Littlejohn will officiate. Born in Cabarrus County on February 4, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Charlie Columbus Barbee and the late Essie Mae Hinson Barbee. She was owner of Locust Clothing and Crafts and a member of Bethel Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Nay Honeycutt of the home; daughter, Millie Gardner and husband Johnny of Norwood; grandson, Rick Gardner and great grandson, Joshua Gardner, both of Concord.
