Guy Fisher, Jr.

Guy Franklin Fisher Jr., 63, of Concord, passed away Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis.

Mr. Fisher was born January 13, 1958, in Kansas to the late Guy Franklin Fisher Sr. and the late Shirley Fisher.
He was also preceded in death by brother, Jeff Fisher and son, Brandon Fisher.

Guy spent his free time through the years with his family, ministering the love of Christ to the broken or on the golf course.  His children were always top of mind for him doing all he could to ensure they rose to their potential and walked out God’s best for their lives. He spent countless hours over the years coaching two of his boy’s baseball teams.  He was always on the sideline of his kids whether it was the baseball field, swim meets, dance recitals or their academics in school.  Guy came alive when he ministered at the Charlotte Rescue Mission-Rebound with his church family sharing the hope and the love of Christ to men there.  Guy lived a life of grace. He lived a servant’s life and modeled a servant’s heart pointing all who knew him to Jesus. He ran the race set out before him. He is now resting in the arms of our loving Father….He finished well.

Survivors include sons, Jonathon Fisher, Christian Fisher, and Logan Fisher; daughters, Olivia, and Grace Fisher; granddaughter, Isabella Fisher; and girlfriend, Valetta Rhinehart.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:30 pm on Sunday, November 21, 2021 , at Crossroads Church, 220 George W. Liles Pkwy, Concord, NC 28027.  The Graveside Service will be held on Monday, November 22, 2021 , 11:00 am at Catawba Memorial Park, 3010 Hwy 70 SE, Hickory, NC 28603.
