Gwen Allen

Gwen Weeks Allen, 86, of Stanfield, passed away Friday, April 6, 2018 at her home in Stanfield.

She was born September 28, 1931 in Mecklenburg County to the late John Joseph Weeks Sr. and the late Ethel Hughes Weeks.  She was also preceded in death by husband, Paul Bennett Allen, Jr.; and grandson, Kyle Bennett Allen.

The funeral service will be at 4:00 pm, Monday, April 9, 2018 at Carolina Presbyterian Church in Locust officiated by Rev. David Yoran. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. The family will receive friends after the service from 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm at the church, 406 Renee Ford Road, Locust, NC.

Survivors include son, Rick  (Janet) Allen of Stanfield; daughter, Kathy Allen (Jerel) Eudy of Stanfield; grandchildren, Wesley (Brooke) Eudy, Christa (Richard) Huneycutt, Lindsey Eudy, and Ramsey (Brandy) Allen; great-grandchildren, Ellie and Layla Allen, Roman, Lucas, London and Lincoln Huneycutt, and River, Logan and Colton Eudy; sister, Elaine Weeks Bridges of FL; and brother, John Joseph Weeks, Jr. of Stanfield.
