Gwendolyn Hathcock

Gwendolyn Joyce Gregory Hathcock, 72 years of age, of Albemarle, passed away Saturday, October 28, 2017.

Mrs. Hathcock was born on November 14, 1944 to the late Oren Forest and Macy Shue Gregory. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband Larry A. Hathcock, Sr. and her son, Larry A. Hathcock, Jr.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 pm, Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, November, 2, 2017 at 1:00 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home's Lefler Memorial Chapel in Albemarle. Burial will follow in Stanly Gardens of Memory at 2001 East Main St., Albemarle.

Survivors include: son, Ricky (Tammy) Hathcock, daughter, Sherry (Tom) Brown; sister, Zanie Wilson; eight grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.

Memorial may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P. O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38101.
