Hailey Allen

Hailey Marie Allen, 18 years of age, of Concord, passed away Friday, June 26, 2015 in Concord.

Hailey was born December 25, 1996 in Stanly County to Marshall Allen Jr. and Sandra Rebecca Hartsell Allen. She was also preceded in death by grandfather, William Hartsell.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Thursday, July 2, 2015 at Hartsell Funeral Home, 13575 Broadway Avenue, Midland, NC 28107. The funeral service officiated by Rev. Kenny Russell will be at 11:00 AM, Friday, July 3, 2015 at Providence Church of God, 12474 NC 24/27 Hwy., Locust, NC 28097. Burial will follow at Clarks Grove Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, Hwy. 200, Stanfield, NC 28163.

The family will be meeting at the home of Hailey's father, Marshall Allen at 655 Treasure Place SW, Concord, NC 28025 and Hailey's grandmother, Donnie Hartsell at 588 Big Lick Road, Stanfield, NC 28163.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her sisters, Jessica Allen of Albemarle, and Megan Allen of the home; grandparents, Donnie Hartsell of Stanfield, and Marshall and Vivian Allen, Sr. of Statesville; great-grandmother, Nellie Jane Honeycutt of Midland; aunts, Jeannine Hill and husband, Ricky of Mint Hill, and Anita Thomas and husband, Wilson of Monroe; uncles, Reggie Allen and wife, Bridget of Harmony, and Steve Allen and wife, Leigh of Statesville; and many cousins.


Hailey loved life and it loved her right back, celebrate her passion. She held her head high and looked the world straight in the eye, celebrate her strength. She turned her cants into cans and her dreams into plans, celebrate her goals. She made the world a better place, celebrate Hailey.
