Harold Ravaughn Austin, 78 years of age, of New London, passed away Thursday, October 31, 2013 at his residence in New London. He was born August 9, 1935 in North Carolina to the late Walter Lee Austin and Nellie Mae Austin. He was also preceded in death by son, Harold Austin, Jr.. There are no services scheduled at this time. Survivors include wife of 59 years, Enid Elizabeth Austin of New London, NC, daughter, Leslie (Kevin) Johnson of Wilson, NC, daughter, Susan Yates of Albemarle, sister, Ruby Napier of New London, sister, Louvine Austin of New London, mother, Nellie Mae Austin, six grandchildren, six great grandchildren.
