Harold Cook

Harold Joseph Cook, 75, of Concord, passed away Monday, November 1, 2021 in Concord.

Harold was born October 25, 1946 in North Carolina to the late Wilburn Franklin Cook and the late Foy Elizabeth Cook.
He was also preceded in death by sister, Blenda Griffin.

The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 on Saturday the 6th at Mt. Hermon Lutheran Church.  A celebration of Harold's life will be held at the church at 11, officiated by Pastor Michael Frye.  Burial will follow at the church cemetery.

Survivors include wife, Judy Cook of Concord, NC; sons, Lee Cook and Kevin (Kristina) Cook, granddaughters, Sarah (Brandon) Silva and Samantha Purkey, great-grandson, Malachi Silva; sister, Virginia Motley, cousin David (Carol) Bost, and several other beloved cousins and nephews, and a cherished niece.

Harold was a loving husband, father and grand-father. He enjoyed feeding the birds that frequented his back yard and he really enjoyed fishing.  Harold was active in his church and would help out on numerous projects.  He was also very active in Bible study and Sunday School.  Harold was a Vietnam veteran and proudly served in the United States Armed Forces.  But most of all, Harold was proud of his loving family and enjoyed every moment he could spend with them.
