Harold Morgan

Harold Inslee Morgan, age 82 of 4113 Love Mill Road, Stanfield, passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2011 at his home. The family will receive friends on Thursday, from 6 to 8 at Hartsell Funeral Home, Midland. The funeral service will be on Friday at 2 PM at Kinza Memorial Baptist Church, Stanfield. There will be a 30 minute state. The burial will follow in the church cemetery. Born in Stanly County, NC on November 20, 1928, he was the son of the late Floyd Ellison Morgan and the late Mattie Pearl Helms Morgan. He is survived by his wife, Hazel Juanita Yow Morgan of the home; his son, Joe Morgan of Stanfield; daughter, Gail Hathcock and husband Quentin of Concord; granddaughter Amy Hathcock; brothers, Heath Morgan, Sr. and Tommy Morgan both of Stanfield and Gilbert Morgan of Midland; and sisters, Patricia Furr of Oakboro and Jane Johnson of South Port. He was an attendant at West Stanly Convenience Center and a member of Kinza Baptist Church, Stanfield.
