Harold Pope

Harold Wade Pope, Age 67, of China Grove, passed away on August 29, 2012 at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis. The funeral service, officiated by Rev. Curtis Parker, will be held at 11 AM on Friday, September 7, 2012 at Central Baptist Church, 1810 Moose Road, Kannapolis. He will lie in state for an hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at West Lawn Cemetery. At other times, the family will be meeting at the home, 430 Sheppard Plant Rd. Mr. Pope was born on July 4, 1945 in China Grove to the late Clyde Smith Pope and the late Maggie Marie Fox Pope. Mr. Pope is survived by his beloved wife, Priscilla Spencer Pope of the home; a son, Keith Darron Pope; two daughters, Melissa Dawn Pope Cooper, Brandi Michele Pope; a brother, Thomas Pope; four sisters, Margie Faye Pope Nantz, Dorothy Pope Jackson, Lynda Rachel Pope Fleming, Carole Dean Pope Stapleton; eight grandchildren, Ashley Pope, Bianna Sha, Joshua Pope, Calub Pope, Hayley Pope, Myia Nicole Pope, Blake Pope, and Cameron Pope.
