Harry Lee Linker, 69, of Concord, passed away on Thursday, June 7, 2012, at home. The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord on Sunday, June 10, 2012, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The funeral service, officiated by Rev. Jeff Rushing and Dr. Bradley Price, will be held in the Hartsell Funeral Home chapel on Monday, June 11, 2012, at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis. Military honors will be performed by Cabarrus County Veterans Honor Guard. At other times the family will meet at the home. Harry was born on July 10, 1942, to the late Reuben Linker and the late Nancy Lee Kennerly Linker. In addition to his parents, Harry was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Linker. Harry was a proud grandfather. He loved western movies and piddling with his Ford truck and motorcycles. He was a member of the Teamsters Union and won several safe driving awards. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Ruby Ann Furr Linker; a son, Scott Linker and his wife, Tonya Stanley-Linker; a daughter, Tammy Linker Gill and her husband, Michael Gill; a brother, Larry Wayne Linker; and three grandchildren, Justin Ray Efird, Morganne Elizabeth Linker and Christian Malik Gill.
