Harry Erskin Munson, 70 years of age, of Stanfield, passed away Friday, February 19, 2016 at his home.
Harry was born September 1, 1945 in Cabarrus County to the late Robert Munson and the late Blanche Elizabeth Benton Munson. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Velinda Louise Munson, who passed away in 2014; his sisters, Peggy Stallings and Shelby Helms.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm, Monday, February 22, 2016 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. The funeral service will follow at 3:00 pm in the Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by Rev. Rodney Quesenberry. At other times, the family will be gathering at the home.
Left to cherish his memory is his daughter, Michelle Munson and fiancé Randall of Newland; his son, Mark Munson of Stanfield; his sister, Janet Munson of Concord; his brother, Jerry Munson and wife Eve of Orlando, FL; and his cherished nieces and nephews.
