Harry Nance

Harry Houston Nance, age 62 of 333 Cemetery St. Richfield, NC passed away on Monday, April 26, 2010 at his home. He was born in Stanly County on June 17, 1947. He was an auto salesman, owned the Sno-Shack, and operated Best Value Travel. He was a member of Open Door Baptist Church. He was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend who will be greatly missed. Mr. Nance was preceded in death by his father, Rommie Yates Nance and mother, Mildred Remorial Sells Nance. He is survived by his daughters, Stasha Nance McLain of Norwood, Amber Page and husband Chris of Norwood; grandchildren, Joshua and Winter McLain, Zackery Aldridge, Hayden, Blake, and Brianna Page; brother, Terry Nance of Richfield and sister, Genoal Blalock of Richfield. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 28, 2010 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service will be Thursday, April 29, 2010 at 4:00 p.m. at Open Door Baptist Church with a 30 minute state. Rev. Kevin Munson officiating. Burial will be at Open Door Baptist Church Cemetery. Military honors graveside by Albemarle-Stanly County DAV Chapter 12. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Stanly County, 960 N. First St, Albemarle, NC 28001 The family will meet at his home.
