Harvey Ferrell

Harvey C Ferrell, age 79 of 44026 NC 24/27 Highway, Albemarle passed away on February 20, 2010 at Stanly Regional Medical Center in Albemarle. Born February 3, 1931 in Stanly County, he was the son of the late Harvey Free Ferrell and the late Laura May Hill Ferrell. He is survived by a sister, Ardree Parrish of Albemarle; nephew Timothy Parrish, Jr. and wife Stacy of Badin; grand niece, Isabella Parrish and grand nephew, Timothy Parrish, Jr. A 1951 graduate of Albemarle High School, Harvey served in the U.S. Air Force. He was formerly employed by Stanly County Hospital and retired from Stanly County Country Club. He was of the Methodist faith. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 24, 2010 from 12 until 2 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. Funeral service will follow at 2 pm in Hartsell Funeral Homes Lefler Memorial Chapel. The family will meet at the home of his sister, Ardree Parrish, 1302 Lee Lynn Drive, Albemarle. . Burial will be in Fairview Memorial Park. Military honors will be conducted by Stanly County DAV, Chapter 12. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Stanly County, 960 N.
